A Little Visitor...

...has taken a liking to our yard!!!

We feel so honored to host this little yellow finch and have noticed he is 

beginning to bring his wife around...will we soon have a family of finches? 

We hope so!!!

We've had 4.5 Days of Spring-Like Weather here in WA!

It just about makes us all giddy with joy: cats, humans and plants. Oh the earth! It's just...bursting with life!

Reminders

This world can be a harsh place, but nature always reminds me of the tenderness of God...today's reminder came in the form of this sweet little bird that seemed to want to engage me in conversation this evening. Too bad I don't speak "chirp." But it was comforting nonetheless.

This little towhee even invited me to dinner.

Having just eaten dinner, I declined the profered worm.
